Meet Janek Wentzky, an up-and-coming rider from Germany who has just joined the KHE team.

Janek has made a name for himself at numerous German contests over the last year. He likes to go fast and can air the shiat out of any quarterpipe set in front of him. We had his friend and fellow rider Domme asked him a few questions:

Please introduce yourself.
My name is Janek Wentzky, I am 17 years young and I’m from a beautiful town called Essen.

For how long have you been riding little kids bikes and how did you get into it?
I’ve been riding for almost three years now and you were the one that first got me into it. I was trying Bunny Hops on your bike and it was so much fun that I just kept riding.

Did you try out any other sports that involve ramps before you started riding bikes?
Yes, at first I was into Skateboarding and I also gave Inline Skating a shot.

What do you like to ride the most? Ramps, Street, Dirt?
I like to ride a bit of everything, but Dirt’s my favorite!

What are your favorite spots?
I ride the trails in Duisburg the most and I like the Wicked Woods Skatepark in Wuppertal.

Do you wanna thank anyone?
First and foremost I’d like to thank my parents for driving me to the hospital on numerous occasions and waiting there for me to get checked out. I can’t believe they still support me! And thanks to KHE for the support!
