Here’s a new video with an interesting backstory: Sam Hulse actually lost his sense of taste and smell in the process of filming this video part:
„The video was first only supposed to take a few weeks to film and be my welcome to GT BMX (UK) edit, but just two days into filming I had a really bad crash cracking my skull in two places and hospitalizing me for the best part of a week. This then led to me actually losing my sense of taste and smell completely, and suffering from bad dizzy spells which put the video on hold for a long time with me having regular hospital visits for treatment and tests. During this time I met Scott Godwin. Scott became a good friend and teamed up with me to help finally get it filmed and edited. So this video has been a big learning curve, from me knocking my confidence on my bike and having to work hard to get it back, alongside learning to live without taste and smell.“
The video was filmed mainly mainly around Liverpool and Manchester over 6 months.
