Webisode 26: Midwest Handrail Insanity

Last weekend I flew out to Chicago for a weekend to get a break from school and just do nothing but ride every day. In this video we hit up Westmont skatepark in the morning, then drove out to Four Seasons where some insane nose-bounce handrail tricks went down.

I stayed with my buddy David Vaitenas, and it was seriously one of the best trips I’ve ever made. We didn’t have the best weather, but we still rode a TON and visited Westmont skatepark, Four Seasons, The Kitchen, Wilson skatepark, Chicago street, and the Shredder Dome (Part 2 coming soon). It was super awesome to get to meet all you guys that watch our videos out there. The midwest definitely has something special about its BMX scene that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Huge thanks to David for giving me a place to stay, driving me around, filming, and allowing me to ingest his Lithuanian grandmother’s amazing breakfasts every morning. Also thanks to Alex Duleba for doing the majority of filming with a smile on his face, and Pat Richert for most of the rest. Last, but not least, thank you guys for all of your continuous support, without it I wouldn’t have been able to afford this trip. Next stop: Texas Toast!
