You all spent Wednesday watching JJ on TCU TV (right? okay thanks) and you no doubt watched Garrett Reynolds‘ new video part 80 or more times yesterday. Today let’s take it back to a different era, one in which JJ ate hamburgers, lived in Philly and was often seen wearing a headband. An era in which The Come Up, torn between The Internet and the physical realm, produced a DVD and then never even bothered to put it online. JJ had the banger section in our first and only DVD (actually there was a roadtrip after this section) and I might go as far as to say that it’s stood the test of time quite well. Joan Jett, Larry Rhodes‘ crisp DVX skillz and JJ’s technical assault upon the streets of Philadelphia all no doubt play a role. Enjoy, and let us know what other sections you want to see re-upped.
