Typically, a 3 day shop stop tour is no big deal. But for some reason this trip felt different. Firstly, the assembled crew got along amazingly well. The squad was a little younger, a little more laid back and a little more enthusiastic about riding parking lots than what you deal with on your average BMX trip. Second, TIP+ hooked it up. Everybody on the trip had their own room every night, Rich kept us fed the whole time and there wasn’t any pressure to do much besides hang out with the riders who showed up at the jams. Which brings me to the third thing that made this trip great; the fans. We experienced huge turn outs at all the jams and everyone who came out was super cool. Thanks to all the shops who held it down and everyone from TIP+ for making it happen.
